Thanks for your recent enquiry. All chicken supplied to Nando’s restaurants is halal. A lot of our restaurants are not fully halal certified as they serve bacon.   
If you have your chicken cooked on the front grill, the chicken will never come in to contact with the bacon.

The coles rep told me all the emulsifiers are vegetable derived in all the muesli bars above..

The difference is only the wrapped product that is labelled “Halal”  are Halal. ”halal ingredient contains… ” is because when we manufacture Halal is a separate production from our standard products.
The differences are, that the margarine in the pastry is not made from a blend of animal & vegetable oils, but instead is made from “Palm Oil”
Also the meat is “halal Certified”. This is why you should  only eat products …
